Advance isn't just about being better people, it's about doing better things!
We're crazy enough to believe that together we can change the world.
That's what Advance Change is about- we don't have to wait for the change we want to see occur, we can BE THE CHANGE and make it happen!
Where it started
A few years ago one of the men who attended one of our events noticed that the school in Ecuador had a defunct bus (Advance began as a movement with Young Living Essential Oils, a farm is in Ecuador, and the company sponsors a school there).
"Couldn't we get the men together to buy this bus?" Ben asked.
The $140K price tag was a LOT. But not too much for a few hundred guys to do.

Other projects + the next big idea
Over the next year, we ran relay races and raised money for Hope for Justice (human trafficking), missionaries in South America, and other causes...
One day, Adaryll says, "Hey, we have thousands in our Facebook group. What if we got all of them to give just $10 per month? No one would miss it, and it would be HUGE!"
That was it.
Find people who want to be recurring donors- with small amounts to Advance Change. Sure, they could give more, but if we all leveraged a bit... the payoff would be huge.
We focus...
We focus on a few areas.
We're fierce advocate of freedom. We believe none of God's children should in slavery. So we leverage our resources through Hope for Justice.
We're champions of the Young Living Foundation, too. Most of us got our business start- or success + time freedom- through that company. YL gave us the platform for the original Advance events. And, YL, was our relational connection. Never forget the roots, right? You'll see us rally together for the Ride for a Reason and other causes as needed (like the bus!).
We're advocates of each other. If we have a man who's jetting across the world for a mission trip, knee-deep in an adoption, or some other worthwhile cause, we take care of our close friends in their larger-than-life pursuits.
This is where it gets cool...
Advance Change automates transformation through recurring giving.
(Sure, you can give a one-time gift, and we encourage that- but the "bread and butter" of this thing is taking the long-view, playing the long-game, and running long-term. It's a marathon, not a sprint.)

Is Advance a nonprofit? Advance is a 501c3- that means we're a certified, bonafide nonprofit. Here's our letter of determination from Uncle Sam.
Can I take a tax deduction for what I give? If you itemize your taxes, yes. See your tax pro for more info.
Who is on the Board of Directors? The current board is listed below. Board members serve for 2 years and rotate off for a year.
When are the board meetings? Four times a year. The board meets twice. year in person- the Thursday before each Advance- at the Advance. This meetings are open. You just need to request to attend by emailing the Secretary. And, the board meets twice a year via Zoom.
Can I see the bylaws and conflict of interest policy? Yes and yes. Email you request to the Treasurer here.
